In mid-2022, the Brazilian Journal of Research in Applied Social Sciences was created, with a proposal to contribute to scientific dissemination free (no fees charged) in the Area of Applied Social Sciences, focusing on dialogue between scholars and investigation of topics, as well as close to countries, mainly Latin Americans, considering the strategic geographic position of the Universidade Federal do Pampa, especially the campus São Borja , Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Those interested in submitting their materials for publications in 2023 in the Brazilian Journal of Research in Applied Social Sciences - BJRASS, we inform you that the material will go through the journal's evaluation process, however, once the evaluation flow is completed, the publication of the same, if accepted, will only be given in volume 2 number 2, which should be released in December 2023, since for volume 2, number 1, which will be published in July 2023, we intended the edition to the dossier of the event IV SEMINAR (DES)MAKING KNOWLEDGE ON THE BORDER: SCIENCE, DEMOCRACY AND RESISTANCE, in response to the request of the event's organizing committee.

The Brazilian Journal of Research in Applied Social Sciences, was designed to contribute to those interested in the themes of Applied Social Sciences, both for Reading and in the technical and scientific dissemination of the most different countries. Linked to the Graduate Course in Social Work, Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA, located in São Borja, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

The privileged position of UNIPAMPA, São Borja campus, stands out, as it is bordering Argentina, the western border of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, it is estimated the participation of readers and authors from several countries.
