RESIDÊNCIA PEDAGÓGICA EM PERÍODOS DE TRANSIÇÃO DA PANDEMIA DO COVID-19:
ELABORAÇÃO DE MATERIAL DIDÁTICO E A (DES)MOTIVAÇÃO DE ALUNOS EM CONTEXTO REMOTO
Abstract
This article presents the experience lived by two university students of the undergraduate course English Language and Literature at the University of Technology - Parana, who participated as scholarship holders in the Pedagogical Residence Project from October 2020 to March 2022. With students temporarily unmotivated by remote learning, we faced the challenge of adapting the content proposed by the school curriculum so that we could motivate them to attend and participate more in English language classes. Based on the National Curriculum Parameters, which point out the relevance of the use of transversal themes in the classroom, we worked with citizenship and tried to bring the activities closer to the students´ reality. At the end of the program, there was a consensus regarding the challenge and learning that was going through the experience in the period of pandemic transitions and emergency remote teaching. Thus, we concluded that the first class of the Pedagogical Residence of English Language and Literature students at the UTFPR underwent a different learning process than the initial one proposed. It had gains in relation to what was initially imagined when facing this challenge. However, at the end, it taught its participants ways to deal with some situations by attempting to bring the content closer to the reality of the students as a way of motivating them.
