REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DE UM GRUPO DE DOCENTES DA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA SOBRE A INSERÇÃO CURRICULAR DOS TEMAS TRANSVERSAIS EM DIFERENTES ÁREAS DO CURRÍCULO
Abstract
Abstract: This scientific article aims to identify the Social Representations of a group of Elementary School teachers on cross-cutting themes (ethics, health, environment, sexual orientation, cultural plurality, work and consumption), as proposed by the National Curriculum Parameters (PCN). The study was based on Moscovici's Theory of Social Representations (2012) and also theorists such as Jodelet (2001), Tardif (2002), Gauthier (2006). The results revealed that the Social Representations of teachers are anchored in practices based on experiential knowledge, that is, they recreate ways of working as social problems are brought up, according to students' social and experiential demands. The data also showed that the theme most worked by teachers is the environment, but it was not possible to prove the transversality in the development of the themes they describe. The contribution of the themes to the integral formation of the student was one of the positive aspects of the research. The results are expected to contribute to the discussion and reflection with managers, teachers and students and also to the enrichment of the school pedagogical project, supporting future actions and a new vision regarding the insertion of transversal themes in the pedagogical content.
