Abstract
This publication is part of the proceedings of the IV Seminar (Un)Making Knowledge on the Border, held remotely on June 27, 28, and 29, 2022, organized by the Women Without Borders Extension Program, with support from research groups and the Postgraduate Program in Public Policies at the Federal University of Pampa. With the central theme "Science, Democracy, and Resistance," the event aimed to promote interdisciplinary exchange among students, teachers, researchers, and other participants, problematizing knowledge and practices based on epistemological and empirical foundations in different social, historical, and cultural contexts.
The seminar included open and special panels, participation of international guests, lectures, dialogues, workshops, mini-courses, working groups, and presentations of research and experience reports, encompassing pedagogical, professional, and resistance practices in social movements. The Dossier presents an overview of the works discussed at the event, bringing together 13 articles that analyze processes of organization, political struggle, ethics and professional practice, as well as proposals for collective intervention and resistance strategies. In a context marked by the precariousness of life and multiple vulnerabilities, the texts highlight the construction of science, democracy and resistance both in the political and trade union field and in the formulation of emancipatory proposals and in the struggle for human rights.
