Submissions
Author Guidelines
The texts must be sent with the formatting required by the journal, following the ABNT NBR 6023 and 10520 standards, as detailed in the templates.
The contribution must be original and not being evaluated for publication by another journal.
The contribution presented can contain a maximum of 05 (five) authors, being a docor author and the ather authors can be: doctoral students, masters, masters students, specialists, specialization students, pregaduate or postgraduate. All authors must present ORCID.
Academic scientific contributions made only by undergraduate students will not be accepted. All publications in BJRASS, whether articles, essays or reviews, must have, among the authors, at least an author with a doctorate degree.
Each author may submit or maintain a text in the evaluation process every two years, except when invited.
Texts in the form of an article, essay, or review are accepted.
BJRASS will not publish two contributions per author or co-author, that is, two articles, or an article and a review, or article and essay, among others, with the same authors. Each published issue will contain only one text, regardless of the form, be it article, essay or review. Therefore, the name of authors or co-authors will only appear once in each new issue published.
The submission file must be in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
Submissions can be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish or English. Texts written in Spanish or English must accompany the title, abstract and keywords in Portuguese. All texts must include a title, abstract, and keywords in the original language and in English.
Bibliographic references must be in the author-date form (Candido, 2001, p.12). Footnotes should be kept to a minimum. Images, when applicable, must be inserted in the body of the text in JPG format (without compression) and have a resolution of 200 dpi, in accordance with the templates.
ARTICLE (SEE TEMPLATE)
The article must contain the following structure:
Title (in the original language and in English);
Summary (in the original language and in English);
Introduction;
Development (can be divided into unnumbered sections);
Final considerations;
Acknowledgments (when necessary);
References.
Number of pages: the text sent must have a minimum of fifteen (15) pages and must not exceed 20 (twenty), including tables, figures, bibliographic references, endnotes and attachments;
Formatting: paragraphs without indentation, Arial 12 font, with 1.5 line spacing, without spaces before and after paragraphs. Top and left margins 3 cm and bottom and right 2 cm.
EXPERIMENT (SEE TEMPLATE)
*Scientific essay is a text in which the author exposes his ideas, or a composition of them, being able to present his personal interpretation on a particular theme. A scientific essay is dedicated to a concrete topic that implies deepening, discernment and capacity for synthesis.
The experiment must contain the following structure:
Title (in the original language and in English);
Summary (in the original language and in English);
Introduction;
Development (can be divided into unnumbered sections);
Final considerations;
References.
Number of pages: the minimum must be (15) fifteen pages and must not exceed 20 (twenty), including tables, figures, bibliographic references and end-of-text notes;
Formatting: paragraphs without indentation, Arial 12 font, with 1.5 line spacing, without spaces before and after paragraphs. Top and left margins 3 cm and bottom and right 2 cm.
REVIEW (SEE TEMPLATE)
Review structure:
Title (in the original language and in English);
Identification of the original work to which the review refers;
Review text;
Number of pages: the minimum must be (2) two pages and must not exceed 20 (twenty);
Formatting: the text must be in Arial 12 font, single-spaced, justified. The text must not present subdivisions, it must be one, fluid and the opinions expressed must dialogue with the author of the work. Therefore, a review is not a simple summary, it must describe in detail the content of the work studied in order to offer subsidies to readers about the original.
