Custos de produção na atividade leiteira: Um estudo bibliométrico

Abstract

Dairy production is considered of great importance in the agricultural sector, being part of the income generation of many producers, whether small, medium or large scale. However, driven by continuous technological development and consumer market demand, they strive to develop production techniques, in addition to adopting the best practices in dairy farming. For this effort to be successful, production, organization and administration costs must be determined. Therefore, the study demonstrates an overview of publications on dairy production costs in the Web of Science and Scopus database collection, in the period from 2012 to 2022. Data were collected from the Web of Science (WOS) and Elsevier's Scopus databases, with a search for publications with the topic cost and “dairy activity”. As a result, a total of 38 publications were found in both databases, and only 29 were considered after removing duplicates. The results indicate that Brazil is the main producer of these studies, and the analysis shows, in this case, that the country seeks more and more knowledge about the subject under study.
