COOPERATIVISM AND ITS INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL PRIORITIES FROM THE PERSPECTIVES OF ITS STRENGTHENING AND THE SDG/UN

Abstract
This article deals with cooperativism based on the priorities and challenges for advances in intercooperation and internationalization, aiming at strengthening and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs. The objective focuses on the international and national priorities of cooperatives in the perspective of their strengthening and the SDGs. The specific objectives are: a) referencing and contextualizing cooperatives; b) to scale quantitatively and qualitatively the cooperative organizations at the state and national levels and some international dimensions; c) map and describe the priorities of cooperativism through representative bodies and research, promotion and support bodies; d) indicate strategic proposals that contribute to their strengthening and the achievement of the SDGs. The research methodologically is based on the purposes as an exploratory, descriptive and field study, and on the means, of a quali-quantitative, bibliographic, documentary and participatory nature. The analysis and systematization of the data was guided by the conceptual foundations, collected content and the objectives defined in the research. Cooperatives, due to their nature and functioning, foundations, principles, values, beliefs, legislation and segments, constitute a movement, strategy, instrument and structure to promote social and economic inclusion, have invested in the qualification of their management and management, improving management and governance technologies, methods with a view to strengthening and better reaching the SDGs and the development of society. Finally, it is expanding its contributions to the promotion of inclusion, social justice, democracy, participation and the addition of economic and social value to its members and the promotion of territorial development.
