AMAZONIAN WOMEN: THE CHALLENGES OF ACCESSING PUBLIC POLICIES

Abstract
This article analyzes the challenges faced by Amazonian women in accessing public policies, with an emphasis on traditional knowledge and the contradictions imposed by neoliberal capitalist logic. The research is based on the “Amazon factor” as an analytical axis, recognizing the territorial, cultural and social particularities that cross the formulation and implementation of rights. The methodological procedure adopted is bibliographical research, based on books, scientific articles, dissertations and theses, to support reflection on sustainability, social technologies, public policies and their interfaces with the historical invisibility of these women. It argues that the fragility of public policies in the region is related to the lack of recognition of local specificities, the marginalization of traditional knowledge and insufficient action by the state. Thus, the study points out that strengthening these policies requires valuing Amazonian ways of life and recognizing forest women as active subjects in the construction of emancipatory alternatives.
